About 11km south of Sorell at Forcett, Nonesuch is yet another of Tasmania's new breed of hooch-makers, bottling up dry gin, sloe gin and sloe malt whisky (sloe being a purple-black berry fruit, something akin to a juniper). Open sporadically; call ahead to arrange a visit.
When you come to visit, you will meet us in the surroundings where we work and meet the owner/distiller and the team doing the things that result in premium, small batch products. As well as seeing how they are produced, you can sample the premium hand-crafted Nonesuch products.
We enjoy getting to meet our customers. But remember we are a working, family-run distillery and there may be times when circumstances force an unexpected closure to our advertised hours.
Because of that, we do suggest you call ahead to check whether we are open.
For something really unique and memorable you may want to participate in our Distillery Experience where you spend an entire day with the Distiller and the team producing either a whisky or gin. This is something very special for a whisky or gin enthusiast.
